Professional Photographers of Massachusetts state convention was held earlier this month where my work competed along with over 185 images juried by a panel of 6 Master Photographers from across the country.  The results were 1 Blue Ribbon for a Merit and 5 Red Ribbons, mostly client images that I captured throughout the year and two personal images created for myself. Part of improving my craft is entering these professional competitions, competing against my peers and being juried by the top working professionals in our industry.  This process has been a part of my success in continuing to bring the best images I can to my clients.  It keeps my creative eye and attention to detail sharp while pushing me to always improve on posing, lighting and composition.  Nevermind the excitement of competition and cheering each other on!

Thank you to all the families that brightened my holiday with smiles! It was so much fun photographing families, children and fur-babies on the sparkling backdrop of the holiday season. Hoping everyone's holiday wishes came true and you enjoyed the company of your loved ones! Cheers to ringing in 2015!  The New Year is always a time for me the reflect back on the past year and to rejuvenate for the year ahead.  I've been blessed with many wonderful clients in 2014, thank you for inviting me to capture beautiful memories for you! Meeting for the rescheduled engagement session, we were all getting discouraged because a sudden storm was blowing through Hingham....not again we all said! As the quote goes we were all willing to dance in the rain if that is what it took, but our patience waiting out the passing storm proved that amazing things can come after a storm! Thrilled to be shooting Rebecca & David's wedding next year at the Four Seasons in Boston! You are a very special couple and to see how calm you both were dealing with the weather I know you will have much luck, love and laughter in your future together! Many happy wishes to you both!!

Rainy day here in New England, let's flashback to the warmer times we love and cherish!  Summer goes so fast, we want to hold onto these memories as long as possible, so winter doesn't feel so cold!  Been slacking on blogging and geting back on it by sharing some past sessions.  Love repeat clients because I have the joy of watching them grow as a family, last time little "R" was only six months old now almost three it is a whole new experience keeping up with her!  This time we took the opportunity to get the extended family portrait while everyone was at the summer Cape home - relaxed, tan and cold beer not far away!! Just love, love, loved hippy dippy dancing in the low tide and capturing beautiful sunsets with this family!
